Bluefield College in Virginia Announces a New Tuition Plan

Molly Greenberg reported for DCInno on March 20, 2015 that Bluefield College in Bluefield, VA will be offering a significant reduction in tuition.  The college's Pathways Program offers $12,000 tuition per year to students willing to forgo financial aid.
Bluefield College opened it's doors in 1922 after a study of the needs for higher education in southwestern Virginia by the Baptist General Association of Virginia.  Enrollment is currently just over 840 students and the town of Bluefield in Tazewell County has a population just over 5,400.  A history, Lighthouse on the Hills: The Bluefield College Story, can be viewed on the college's web site.
