Ashesi University College and the founder and president, Patrick Awuah, are featured in a post on the St. Louis Public Radio's web site, "Setting Up Ghana's First Liberal Art College Makes Him a 'Genius'." President Awuah was recently recognized as a 2015 MacArthur Fellow and reporter, Vicky Hallett, explores his vision for the institution. Ashesi enrolls over 600 students from 20 African nations.
Ashesi is a private, non-profit liberal arts university located in Accra, Ghana. The mission is to educate ethical and entrepreneurial leaders with the critical thinking skills, the concern for others and the courage it will take to transform their continent. Majors include: Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
