Bennington College featured in several recent posts by Vermont Business Magazine

Vermont Business Magazine reported this week that Dr Mariko Silver of Bennington College has been appointed as the Henry Luce Foundation’s next president and CEO with her service as Bennington's president completed by July 1, 2019.

Silver began her service as Bennington's 10th president in 2013 and achieved success in fundraising and campus revitalization.

The magazine also posted a fascinating article by Joyce Marcel, "The audacious life of Bennington College President Mariko Silver," that first appeared in the print issue of Vermont Business Magazine several years ago in August 2015.  While Marcel's reporting focuses on Silver, she also provided a detailed picture of Bennington.

Bennington was also featured in a late March 2019 article, "Middlebury to relocate several language schools to Bennington College," after Middlebury College president Laurie Patton and Silver announced a new agreement where Bennington will host several of Middlebury's language schools beginning in 2020.
