New Institution Proposed for Campus of Former Marlboro College


Democracy Builders founder Seth Andrew wants to start a new institution in Marlboro, VT after agreement was announced to acquire the campus of Marlboro College. This new venture, Degrees of Freedom, is promoted with a focus on low income and first-generation college students and will likely offer late high school and early college educational experiences.

Marlboro College opened in 1946 and recently announced an alliance with Emerson College in Boston, MA that will be completed in 2020.
