Karen Gross, former president of Southern Vermont College, has an interesting post October 1, 2015 on HuffPost College blog, "Are Small Colleges Going the Way of the DoDo Bird? Short Answer: No." I applaud the author for taking the time to actually secure a copy of the report from Moody's and check the information.
Far too many authors write articles and blog posts where they cite Moody's press releases and make bold predictions without much evidence that they have any understanding of higher education history or finances.
